Ingram Road Improvement Project (City of San Antonio capital Improvement Project), San Antonio, Texas ($8.5m): Currently MHR is working as a sub-consultant to Lockwood, Andrews & Newman, Inc.  (LAN) for this City of San Antonio 2012-17 Capital Improvement Project. The Scope of Work includes watershed analysis, hydrologic calculation, hydrologic model development (HECHMS), floodplain analysis, development of hydraulic models (HECRAS) for existing and ultimate conditions, design the Multiple Box Culverts (MBC) under Ingram Road, design the downstream channel improvement to mitigate the adverse impact. Responsibilities also include Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E).

Mountain View Estates Drainage Improvement Project, Phase I (City of San Antonio Public Works Project), San Antonio, Texas ($2.0M): MHR Developed a solution for the acute flooding problem to 158.0 acre Mountain View Acres Subdivision in Culebra Creek Watershed. The project has alleviated the subdivision from heavy flooding and provided access in and out of the subdivision during heavy rainfall events. The project involved a detailed watershed analysis, detailed hydrologic analysis for the existing and proposed condition, developing hydraulic models (HECRAS) that include 4-400'-7'X4' Multiple Box Culverts. Responsibilities also included Plans, Specifications & Estimates (PS&E).

Windcrest Heights, San Antonio, Texas (KB Homes): 22 acre single family residential development. MHR has provided the Water Modeling and Storm Water Management Plan for the Master Development Plan (MDP). MHR has aloso provided the drainage reports for Units I, II, III and IV along with the detention pond design for Unit II.

Knoll Creek Flood Study (Bexar County Public Works Project, Bexar County, Texas ($5.6M): MHR worked as a sub-consultant to San Antonio Design Group. Developed the hydrologic (HECHMS) and hydraulic (HECRAS) models applicable to a tributary to Salado Creek in San Antonio, Texas in conjunction with the potential channel improvements (inline detention and culverts) for the reduction of peak flows in the downstream areas. The study aimed at to reduce the limit of floodplain in Briar Crest Road area which would also facilitate a reduction in the downstream road crossing structure. MHR also worked on estimating construction cost and writing Briar Crest Technical memorandum.  

FEMA Flood Study/Panther Springs Creek, San Antonio, Texas: The flood study corrected the 100 year floodplain delineated by FEMA. The study recovered 18 lots in Greystone Subdivision (San Antonio, Texas) completely out of floodplain. The Scope of Work included development of hydraulic models (HECRAS) based on the field survey and the effective condition hydrologic flow. Responsibilities also include the prepration of City and FEMA submittal for the Letter of Map Revision (LOMR).

FEMA Flood Study/Huebner Creek-Tributary A, San Antonio, Texas: MHR Worked on the Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) and Letter of Map Revision (LOMR).

FEMA Flood Study of Calaveras Creek Watershed, San Antonio, Texas: Developed hydrologic (HECHMS) and hydraulic (HECRAS) models. The project had a new channel improvement in floodplain in conjuction with Foster Meadows Subdivsiison development. The study was submitted to City and FEMA in support of Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) and Letter of Map Revision (LOMR).

Flood study/ Selma Stage Stop, Selma, Texas: Analyzed the existing floodplain for the development of Selma Stage Stop.

Flood Study for French Creek, San Antonio, Texas: Developed hydraulic models (HECRAS). The study was submitted to the City of San Antonio and FEMA in support of a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR).

Drainage Study/ Highland Hills Development, San Antonio, Texas: Prepared the Storm Water Management Plan which involved the analysis of existing Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (DFIRM) models (hydrologic and hydraulic) for 833.0 acre drainage area applicable to the Hospital Creek in Upper San Antonio River Watershed. Study also includes a detailed analysis of a low water crossing.

Drainage Study/ McDonough Water Project, San Antonio, Texas: Analyzed 10.5 Sq. mile watershed in Leon Creek for the feasibility study of this water project. The study estimated the receivable runoff from Leon Creek beyound the 2 year storm event. The study also includes the considerations of annual average precipirtation in the relevant watershed.

Drainage Study/ McDonough Master Development Plan, San Antonio, Texas (104.0 acre tract): Prepared the Master Development Plan (MDP) which includes the detailed drainage analysis of Upper Leon Creek Watershed. The hydrologic and hydraulic models for Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (DFIRM) Study were used in the drainage analysis.

Drainage Study/ The Estates at Golf Valley, San Antonio, Texas: Prepared the Storm Water Management Plan which involved the analysis of DFIRM hydrologic and hydraulic models for 600 acre drainage area applicable to the Cibolo Creek in Cibolo Creek Watershed.

Esperanza Road Drainage Improvement Project, Laredo, Texas: Completed hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for a 320.0 acre watershed in order to identify the cause of flooding problems, and designed the new drainage system, estimated the project cost and reviewed the bid proposals.

Drainage Study/ Winfield Master Development Plan, Laredo, Texas: Performed detailed drainage study for the 600.0 acre watershed, analyzed the existing culverts under Loop 20 (TxDOT) within the relevant watershed and provided designs for the modified channel in the downstream side. The study also included several detention pond designs in order to eliminate the downstream impact from the developments.

South Texas Detention Pond Complex, Correctional Services Corporation, Pearsall, Texas: Analyzed a 120.0 acre watershed and provided the hydraulic designs including a detention pond modeling.

Loop 20/Sinatra Culvert Addition, Laredo, Texas: Performed a 200.0 acre watershed analysis and provided recommendation for additional culverts under Loop 20 (TxDOT) with its design.
